Hello, my name is Troy Buhr. I am a native of St.Charles Minnesota but spent a number of years in the Dallas Fort Worth area managing both new and used car stores. My wife, Lauri, and I moved our family to Rochester Minnesota in 2000 to start Southpoint Motors.

Lauri has been in the car business since 2001 and is co-owner of Southpoint Motors. Originally from Riverdale, UT, Lauri brings great energy and enthusiasm to the dealership! She does anything, and everything, to keep the business "rolling" on all four wheels.    

Jill Harstad - Accountant

We are not sure where we would be today if we didn't have Jill Harstad, (president of Harstad accounting) Keeping four businesses on top of the accounting duties. All I can say is we are fortunate to have her at Southpoint Motors.

Geoff Buchholz - Sales/Finance Manager

Geoff is originally from Toledo, OH, spent some time in Elkhart, IN, then moved to Rochester in 2015. He has 10 years of experience in the auto industry--specifically sales. Excited for new experiences with the Southpoint Motors family!

Omar Morales - Technician/Bilingual Sales Assistant

Omar is a recent graduate from Technician school at RCTC here in Rochester. He services vehicles in the morning hours at Southpoint Auto Care, then assists the sales team in the afternoon at the dealership. Omar is a phenomenal addition to our team as he is bilingual in English and Spanish!
